Polished Femininity

When in doubt, always grab a structured jacket. Not only will it keep you warm during the colder months but it’ll make your waist and hips look narrow, giving you a flattering, slimming fit. And the best part is that it doesn’t have to be maternity, you can still wear your favorite pre-pregnancy jacket/blazer because you can wear it open over any outfit!

Pencil skirts are usually harder to make the jump over to maternity wear so opt for a skirt with stretchy waistband, especially during your last months as your baby grows and develops. This skirt stays put and keeps it structured even if you’re toting a sizable bump underneath it. If you have a favorite button closed skirt that you want to continue wearing, you can add elastic bands that can be sewn in and remove after pregnancy.

Add a pretty lacey top like this one for a feminine touch, and you’re ready to take on the day looking Oh-so-chic!

Knits + Lace

Come fall, these feminine patterns remain to be a favorite in the fashion world (and my wardrobe). Why wouldn’t they? From lace embellishments to crochet knit fabrics, they ooze a sense of delicateness and elegance. I am loving this knitted sweater, from Motherhood, in particular! It not only feels like a warm hug, but the ruching on the sides accentuate your curves in all the right places. By hugging your hips and waist, it makes sure the focus stays on your silhouette and on your best features. Add a pair of bold printed pumps to bring some spice to your chic cozy look.
